G-Cloud is a UK government initiative intending to ease procurement of cloud services by public sector bodies and promote the move to cloud throughout the UK in line with government’s cloud-first policy.
Suppliers and vendors register their cloud services depending on the ‘lot’ category of either:
G-Cloud digital marketplace continues to provide a large variety of cloud based services available for public sector organisations to compare and procure. Vendors are vetted and verified by the Government Digital Service (GDS) prior to listing their services on the marketplace, meaning customers do not have to do their own full review process.
